Actor R Madhavan (right) is known for Bollywood films like Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (2001), 3 Idiots (2009) and Tanu Weds Manu (2011). However, not many are aware of the actor’s passion for bikes. He owns three popular bike models and takes them out for a spin whenever he gets some time.

Madhavan believes that riding a bike is a liberating experience. “A bike makes a man feel more like a man, which is why I got the best motorcycle I could afford,” he says.
The bike aficionado’s next bike trip will be to Ahmedabad in December and he plans to take his wife along. “I have been planning many trips, but only a few have materialised. Next I will explore the wonderful roads between Mumbai and Ahmedabad with a group of friends. I’m hoping to take my wife along. She is also developing a taste for being a biker,” says Madhavan.
“I come from a biker family — my dad was into motorcycles as well. And I’m hoping to continue the legacy. The one thing I would like to say to all bike enthusiasts is that they should ride safely,” he says.
